Jonathan’s plans were exactly what you saw on the page. There’s no part of that which he didn’t get to tell for some reason–so such an interview, I’m afraid, would be relatively short.

This question betrays a fundamental misunderstanding of what “8 Months Later” was trying to solve. Jonathan Hickman didn’t want to write “Sunspot buys AIM” or “Steve takes over SHIELD” as a story.

He wanted to do stories with Sunspot already owning AIM. Nation X/Phoenix Egg isn’t a story. It’s how you get Doom facing down an aggressive Phoenix and ending it.
